let us know if you figure it out!

did you gravity bleed the brakes? i think sac had a problem when he installed new calipers on his friend's miata - don't know if it'll help since you had a bad MC, but maybe?

I will feel really stupid asking this now but, did you make sure to jack up the rear bar so that it's level with the car? There is a brake bias valve that cuts fluid to the rear brakes when the cars in the air

Yea, the rear wheels need to be pushed up in order to bleed it properly because attached to the rear bar is a valve that cuts brake fluid from the rear under hard braking. So when the car is up in the air and the rear wheels are at full decompression, the valve is completely closed not letting any fluid to the rear calipers

I don't think mk4's have a mechanical proportioning valve attached to the rear beam like mk2's or 3's

But nonetheless still worth a shot!

I can come over this weekend with nick maybe and take a look at it if you can't get it figured out.

another update, i went to the Dub Dealership, and talked to a mechanic, that has been working there since 1974, he said he has never heard of the problem before, and said it was odd, and he had no clue, so my car is kind of fucked

You just got this car! You're selling it because you can't get the brakes to work?
