| I mean that's what I'm saying. I don't wanna shell out the big bucks to fix it. I mean it was my fault, but still. Everything on it is expensive. I hate it. (But I am fixing it in due time) | |

| The intake tract was cold and the fuel wasn't vaporizing completely, when you turned the throttle the engine became momentarily starved for fuel and at the same time you loaded it with the clutch. | |

| I don't believe that letting the car sit over night qualifies as a 'fix'... | |

| i called this shop up again, and they just straight bull shit, they said "well we tested the master cylinder and its not the problem, it looks like all 4 calipers need to be replaced, they have some rust on them"

| There is no "ASE Cert" for a VW. There are ASE certs, there are no vehicle specific certs unless u go to a certified school for VWs. Like BMWs "step" program. Sounds like someone is jerking your chain... I would just see if your pistons move when the brake pedal is applied. Make sure you put pads in the calipers when they are off the rotor so the piston doesn't fall out lol! | |

| ive made sure they move, the guy also told me, it might be your two rear rotors arent grabbing, but if they werent grabbing then why does my e-brake hold my car up on my steep driveway?......... | |

| The e brake is cable driven. I would really like to see the car and take a look at it...
You also need to see I your getting fluid to the calipers when the pedal is pushed. Crack the bleeds. It's hard to diagnose something over a thread bro.

I'm going to guess that your e brake has shoes inside your rear rotors

| nope, the ebrake is attached to the caliper, and uses the brake pads | |

| Distribution or proportioning valve could be bad and not allowing enough pressure to the rear calipers? | |

| Well after staring at my laptop for numerous amounts of hours i think i know how to diagnose my problem, or actually problems dealing with the brake system, also ive decided to keep the car, thanks to josh, corey, and adam, i realized that this is more of a practical car then what ever i had my mind stuck on (roadsters) also i already finished up all the major maintenance on the motor, so its good to last me another 100k, so i will start diagnosing in the morning after my graduation rehearsal, and hopefully i can identify both my problems | |
