I can't believe you really just said that. Why don't you like the RS? I don't understand? Also you had an accord with stock suspension and less than ideal tires, that in no way reflects the way all fwd cars drive. I'm sure if you drove an RS, you would not be able to wipe the grin off your face. +10^99 Slap those r-comps on an RS and it would be interesting.. The RS has far better suspension technology stock, if it were allowed similar modifications as that civic it would blow it out of the water.

But really 350 hp and 340tq and 5.6 to 60? weeeaak. If it has no wheel spin then shouldnt it get to 60 faster? If you're TRULY putting down over 320 whp/wtq with ZERO torque steer in a 3200 pound car, shouldnt you get to 60 a lot faster ? lol gotta love hondas, 180 less tq and its only getting to 60 .4 seconds slower. hmmmm

It doesn't matter if it spins the wheels in a straight line, a 300 rwd car will spin them too. The question is what happens when you turn a corner. Anyways your not going to add power to an rs, there is no point. Are you saying you only like awd cars? Find someone with a well setup powerful fwd car take you around a corner, you will shit your pants. Anyways who cares if a stock mugen civic keeps up with an rs, it's a Honda (no offense mark), it's not nearly as nice as an rs.

| AWD is the most user friendly platform. I just dont get what makes the car so hype. You know that the mugen would be equal if not faster around a track than the Rs, but the mugen was never hyped this much. | |

What makes you think that the Mugen is faster around the track? The RS isn't hyped up for no reason, people drove it and realized that it was an amazingly fun car. Do you really think that one day all of the magazine and tv show hosts sat down and decided that they were going to pick this car as the one to pull the wool over our eyes. Also dude it's a turbo 5cyl! Seriously that is probably THE best motor combination available for any car. Look at some of the best turbo cars in existence, audi coupe quattro, volvo 850, ect all 5 cyl turbo cars. Powerful NA hondas already suck enough to daily drive because they have a tq problem. Have you ever driven an s2000 lol? Also I don't think you understand how hard it is to make a 300 hp fwd car that doesn't plow when you put your foot down. It simply comes down to an aggressive factory suspension setup and more importantly an amazing front LSD. For those of us who understand the value of the hot hatch, the RS is a major step forward. You need to pull your head out of the fog. There is no superior drivetrain. All have their bad side, all have individual qualities that the others dont. And to make my point, on the limit an RS will understeer less than a stock 06 sti. Edit: Kash, I'm going to find a way to import one just so I can take you for a ride and change your mind

| The cars just ehhhh, and believe me I know how much it sucks to daily a honda but the topic was fwd vs fwd on a track. I dont know how the mugen will hold up against the rs but it'll be damn close. But who really cares I wouldnt buy eaither lol oh and stock STi's are known for understeering, marks car will probably understeer less than a Stock sti. | |

| on the Top Gear track driven by the Stig, Focus RS got 1.32.2, the Civic type R got 1.33.5, thats 1.2 seconds slower then the RS, but you are comparing the Mugen RR to the RS, you should be comparing a Mugen RR to a RS500, it only makes sense to compare both cars in their highest trim

You just proved all of my points so why wouldn't you want to buy one? Theyre really well made cars, it's a euro ford for christ sakes and it's fast. You just haven't helped me understand why you dont like them. I remember back when I first learned about the RS I decided that when it came over I would put my name on the waiting list...until I realized that it was going to go north of 30k lol.

Even if the mugen is faster, who cares. Which is more fun? My 100 hp gti is much more fun than a brand new m3. Not nearly as fast but I can promise it puts a bigger smile on my face

| There are more than 1 in the US. I personally saw one at woodward a month ago. I saw one on the road a few months ago. There is one here for testing, and the owner of SVT has one. I think there is also one in Illinois. Then Ken Blocks. Also Kash, the only experience you have with fwd is an accord with lowering springs and garbage shocks.. Next year when I have my giant rear bar on, I'll take you for a ride on hrd and it will be even more stable than your awd. | |

| Something tells me riding in a guy's car when he's trying to show off how stable it is is probably a bad life decision, haha | |
