| Jesus I bet I'd barely be able to walk after being in one of those things for 30 min straight. I drifted into the wall once and my back was killing me after. Is the position of the wheel adjustable at all? I noticed on one kart I was in it was quite far away and another it was much closer. The one where it was far had a harness that came in from both sides and buckled in the middle, and the other one had like a car style seatbelt... | |

| You can move the seat and the pedals independantly on most of the cars. Some of them have a broken seat adjuster and you have to have an employee get a tool to turn it. You can turn it yourself from the seat if you know where it is. The pedals are easy to adjust and move on all but one of the karts, if I remember right.
The bosses obligate them to help you with the adjustments before each heat, so you can just tell them to do it. | |

| Always put the seat up as far as you can tolerate (less weight on rear is good for karts). | |

| Nice. Oh and this 8 year old kid we were racing with came *this* close to taking out one of the track guys. Actually clipped his foot as he was leaping out of the way. wish I had that on video. | |

| The steering wheel is designed for you to be very close to it, also | |

| Yeah it definitely requires much more effort to steer when it is further away, and you can not control it as well. | |

| I got hired and then unhired at the kart track. I guess they're intimidated by my massive skill and knowledge base | |

| They think I live too far away to be a reliable employee, which is just funny to me because I've lived further away from -my own shop-, so if I couldn't make it to work I lost a ton of money, and I drove a more hardcore car with all-seasons that winter. I just want to get more races and I have the free time to trade work for it. | |

| The track was decent. The electric karts were not disappointing. Pretty quick at first. Every heat our karts would lose speed faster, I'd guess because they were losing charge. Right out of the pits the kart would always feel very fast and then lose power, so you have to plan accordingly to make the most of your practice time. Liam and I both got low 24's or something like that. | |

| My fastest was a 24.110. Very nice facility, but EIKR's track is more challenging (requires use of the brake), much better value for money and the karts get up to higher speeds. | |

| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x00IVQ2anEs Someone with gopros, I found their videos of us. I'm in kart 11 trying to get a clean pass on one of these guys while the other hangs back and films it, then they fight for the rest of the video. You can see Liam at the beginning in kart 22. My favorite part is when they get to the pits and our karts are sitting there getting cold also found a video of Liam on the Nurburgring | |
