| I just wanted to start a tire thread where we can post our fav, and least fav tires we have driven on. This way people know some good tires. Here is a good format
Tire: Pirrelli P6 Size: 205/50R16 Review: garbage in all conditions. Broke away to soon and was a reck in the rain!
Let's see some reviews guys!

| Yeah they don't even make the navigators anymore. They are one of the worst all seasons onthe road. | |

| In my experience... Worst tire evar: Kumho ASX. Supposed to be an all season, but has shitty traction in anything but dry, and it wears horribly, even minor neg camber causes really uneven wear. Mine lasted < 20K. Best tire evar: Falken FK 452. UHP Summer tire, has crazy grip in the dry and wet, is quiet, and wears great. oh and for snow, the Dunlop Wintersport 3D is pretty effing assume. | |

| Yeah I picked em because when I bought my winter tire/wheel package I was kind of caught off-guard and was looking for a cheaper total package but I didn't want steelies. They were like 90 some bucks for the 16 inchers from Tirerack. | |

| Continental ContiPro Contact - garbage.. worn after 27,000 miles or so, bad grip especially in the rain, I would spin the tires in the rain, even trying not to.
Goodyear Eagle GT - Pretty good, great grip for an all season tire, but wish I would've gotten a summer. This is the only performance tire I've driven on so I can't really compare them. People say they're not really good, but they feel really stable to me. They are wearing fast though..

| Was wondering what your guys suggestion would be for tires that are sticky and have good handling ablity, but that arent like fully track tires. Or like how fast do like v700 wear on the street? | |

| You wouldn't want to have v700's on the street, since they are r-comps. They will wear very fast. Like probably only several thousand miles. I would say Direzza Star Spec's would be the kind of tire you are looking for. Bridgestone RE760 Sports look pretty good too. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/index.jsp Look at the surveys under Ultra High Performance Summer, Max Performance Summer, and Extreme Performance Summer to find the kind of tires you are looking for. | |

Alden has had them on his car since last spring. They probably have another summer left, possibly two. - ludedude13 wrote:

People say, unshaved street driven v700s last 3-5 thousand miles. As far as other extreme summer performance tires there are quite a few. Star specs, Bridgestone potenza re070s, Yokohama advans ect

| I can say for sure that Eagle GT's are by far the worst tires I have ever run on. They spin even in rain under low acceleration. > | |

| Cooper Weather Master ST/2 (215/55/16)
Great in the snow! They are the only snow tires I have driven on, but they seem to be very good. I can take corners pretty darn fast (for the conditions) and still maintain control in the snow. Dry and wet traction blow.. lol
