| I want to have someone else do the rust repair on my AE86. Anyone know of any good body shops? Every one I find seems to get a ton of negative reviews. | |

| You can't please everyone.
I can't speak specifically to rust repair, but I've been pleased the few times I've used Roberts in Chelsea. They put new rear bumper covers on my current car and my last car, as well as wet sanding and buffing out some scratches on my xtype. I also had them do a paint match for center caps to some powder coated wheels I had.

| For lack of anywhere else to start my search, I'll check them out. Thanks, Phil. | |

| I have some personal experience with VCR here in town. My moms e46 had a few rust bubbles and they did an extraordinary job, expensive, but extraordinary. I also used to work with them at work and they were always very polite.

| Trust me, I know well enough! After I had my rear end accident, I had to go back 3 times, and it still looks like a dog took a shit on it, and they clear coated over it. | |

| VCR is a good a2 shop. also whitneys isnt bad, took my car there. most of the "good" shops are out towards the D. people who do lots of custom work, they are the ones who have the attention to detail, not these guys who work on insurance claims all day. | |

| I would absolutely go to City Body in Ypsi. You may have "heard" bad reviews, but they are absolutely one hundred percent hands down the best body shop in the Ann Arbor area.
We have had our '47 Chevy, and every one of our daily drivers that have had to have some work done there. They are top notch, real local (not big corp owned), and give out free(YES FREE) loaner cars for their work.
