So I plan to buy a NA EJ25 phase 1 to build over winter. When snow stops I'm gonna drop it in the impreza and drive GTI in the spring!

So I think I'm gonna trade my 17s for 16s or maybe just buy some wide as hell 16s and then sell the 17s. Not sure. Thoughts?

i agree with Phil, if anything picture it with a drop first, but i say focus on your exhaust, and center diff, the wheels are fine, i thought you told me "if its not broken, dont mess with it"?

I'd get coils first if you're planning on doing an aggressive setup.

Yeah I am thinking so but idk. New car so I'm just messing with ideas. I think then when more things come together on the car I will be able to get a better idea on what color/wheel I want to go with. I want STi seats in the future lol

Well it's either piston slap or knock. Either way it's not good. I've noticed it for a while now. The exhaust leaks were always to loud to hear it.

So I did some poking with a scope today to track down the source of my "knocking" sound. From what I and the other techs can tell is the valves on the right are out of adjustment. They were telling me it sounds way worse in the car than it really is. So in the next few months I will be adjusting the valves and doing cover gaskets to stop most o the oil leaks!
