the new V12 Lamborghini will also come with a new V12 engine and transmission, so one that is different then the one that was used in the Mercielago

no, its not out yet, and plus this is technology and performance

well regardless of what thread it might be in, lamborghini is epic for using ohlins I also love that v12! I hope the car it goes in looks as good as the superloce or w/e its called (gallardo replacement)

Haha. You're thinking of 'SuperVeloce' which is what the Lambo trim 'SV' means, it's supposed to be the fastest version of that car.

I meant to actually say sesto elemento which is equally way off lol i was just too lazy to look it up earlier. now im just bored sitting in front of a dumpster in my miata hiding behind thne fogged up windows waiting for my gf to get out of lab hahaha

Lol anything past 8 cylinders is a show of strength.

i saw in my European Car Magazine, that this engine will make 700 hp to the wheels, and is pretty lightweight for a V12 engine

the car is only 2200 lbs....the sesto elemento i meant. with a v10 engine and AWD...but weighing as much as my miata. yeah, big engines arent necissarily a "show" of strength. they have a different sound and the more cyl. you have the smoother they tend to be. besides, isnt that sort of the point of the car anyway?

a picture was snapped of the new Lamborghini, that this engine will sit in, ive also read that this new V12 engine only weights 235 kg, which is 517 lbs, and the engine has 700 bhp, with a redline of 8,250 rpm, which is pretty fast for a V12

It looks almost like a Gallardo crossed with a Murci. Honestly I'm not impressed.

Overall, this is a drive unit that is absolutely unique in the competitive world of super sports cars. The development target was clearly formulated – to create the world’s most emotional gearshift feel.

This innovative manual gearbox combines extremely fast shift times – almost 50 percent shorter than with a dual-clutch transmission – with the benefits of manual shifting when it comes to low weight and compact dimensions, both always crucial for a super sports car. The low shift times are enabled through the transmission’s particular design, known as ISR (Independent Shifting Rod). Instead of taking place in series, as with a conventional gearbox, shifting can occur virtually in parallel. While one shifting rod is moving out of one gear, the second shifting rod can already engage the next. Moreover, the transmission weighs only 79 kilograms – a distinct benefit, even against comparable DSG transmissions, which are considerably heavier.

I personally think it looks wonderful, though not as outlandish and crazy as the gallardo replacement.
