| after doing quite a bit of research, i found out that my throttle body has to be recalculated every time the battery is disconnected, to have that accurate pedal, and in order to recalibrate the throttle body, you need a VAG-COM, so at least i know i dont need a new tps or something else, i just need to find access to a VAG | |

| finally blacked out my bumper reflectors. nick, i'm going to have to ask you to see if something can be polished out... i bought a bumper off a dude and he said all the marks could be buffed out. i didn't look at it for a long ass time until i sold the bumper off my car. i have no idea how these marks were made, but they're pretty rough, hopefully with your knowledge/magic it can be done | |

| well i started to try and identify my rear brake squeaking by first seeing if my caliper is frozen or not, it is not, then tried with the other side it wasnt, but then the piston stopped compressing and only turned, i then continued turning for 5 more min, then eventually went onto vortex and got the piston to fully retract, both pistons are fully in, in this process i removed both rear calipers fully, so i disconnected the brake lines and the e-brake lines from the calipers, now for reassembly i put everything back together, started it up and pumped the brakes about 50 times due to me not getting a brake pedal, look outside one of the lines is still leaking, i scratch my head, and tighten the daylights out of it, still no brake pedal. so after 4+ hours of trying to fix my brakes i messed it up even more, so at the moment the car is not drivable, im going to go pick up some more brake fluid tomorrow and bleed the brakes hopefully this will fix my problem, once again the Volkswagen defeats me. but while i had my wheels off, i found this out, my wheels are BBS. | |

| i bled the shit out of the rear pads only to find out that all of the other brake fluid is on the floor due to the Motives brake bleeder having an unsuccessful seal, so now i have $20 of volkswagen fluid on the floor i would have been fine with this if i could drive my car but i cannot due to there still being no brake pedal, which shocks me to think that my rear brakes do so much work and have such a big influence on my brake pedal. i cannot get a pedal, does anyone have any clue on how this POS works? the pistons are unscrewed to the point of where the have contact with the pads, and the calipers are fully bleed there is no more air in them, actually the rear brakes are locked, i cant even spin the wheel by hand the brakes are pressing too much | |

| well Adam and I tried to bleed the brakes again today, but still no brakes when the engine is running, so i tried to look for leaks in the vacuum, didnt see anything, so after doing some researching and looking at the car, i think my master cylinder might be bad. so i think i might get a new master cylinder, sometime soon, if anyone has anything that i might not know please inform me, also i have a bad oil plug gasket, it keeps leaking, so i might need to do an oil change soon. | |
