| 1st place. AWD and a tie for 2nd and 3rd FF and FR
I choose AWD as my #1 fav because I love the incredible amounts of grip combined with stability over uneven pavement and good behavior when you keep the power on during weight transfer.
Fwd and Rwd are a tie because they both offer wonderful benefits. Fwd is like awd in that you can keep the power on until it starts to push. With a big enough rear bar that problem can be eliminated on most cars tho
Rwd is ....well rwd, it's always fun. Having owned a good 7 or 8 rwd cars I have grown to love rwd but on real life twisty roads it's hard to drive 10/10ths because the roads are just too bad.

| i like AWD because of the torque, and the amount of grip they can maintain, (took a ride in a GT-R and blew my mind) as of FWD and RWD it is really hard to find a good RWD car anymore, mainly because the auto market is focused around FWD, but as nick said, you can make FWD cars fun, and for RWD i havent had too much experience in layout Z06 and a Z28 Camaro, both were going straight | |

| I've owned all 3 and I'd have to say AWD is the best, provided there is enough extra power to overcome the extra weight and the parasitic loss associated with the system. In my X-Type I didn't feel like the power was enough (2.5 ) to really see the benefits, though it was awesome in snow. My crappy 86 cougar was FR and driving that bish in snow was not fun. Dani, AWD doesn't mean you have more torque. In fact it's wasting more of the torque that the engine is making than it would if the car were FF or FR. It will be easier to actually use all that torque to actually move the car forward however. | |

| I can say I like RWD soo much better than FWD (I've only driven a Mazda 5) because cornering is so much more fun. But I'm afraid for the winter in my RWD car! I've heard bad things with my car and its open diff :/
I really want to drive an AWD car sometime to see what it's like.

| No. but it doesn't become a "fun" fwd car until I get my giant assssss rear bar. | |

I really want to drive an AWD car sometime to see what it's like. umm Mazda 5 go ask mark to drive his car, it will show you a better example of FR cars compared to a Mazda 5 lol, and your car will be fine in the winter, just get winter tires, and call it good

After getting winter tires, I will never drive in the snow again without them.

+1, I just cant stand the lack of grip compared to awd. In the snow, FWD is certainly my least favorite although not necessarily the slowest, In neighboorhoods fwd can be pretty fun because you can enter corners as hot as you want

| In snow, if it came down to FWD and RWD, its all about FWD. You can take the corners way faster than you ever could in a RWD, especially with a massive rear bar. | |

| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWn6loqrMG4 Even on the worst all-season tires they sell a FWD car can still make it up my hill I still prefer RWD even if it takes me 20 minutes longer to get home. | |

| For normal driving I think RWD + LSD is safer than FWD with or without LSD, in the snow. | |
