The HLS shiz is hella espensive though. It's hard to even find prices for the generic kit, but the retail is supposed to be like $4800 according to vwvortex, and that doesn't include the coils. | |

| Changed the transmission /engine oil today. It shifts so much smoother now, I should have changed it a long time ago.   And for anyone wondering what a T70 Torx bit looks like  Took me forever to find one. | |

| Tranny drain bolt. 04-07 you need a t70 torx bit. All the older years are just a 20mm bolt | |

| ehh idk prob a vf39 or hta68. I'm happy with the power it makes and I want to keep it reliable. If I end up doing the turbo swap it'll prob be in the summer. | |

| Nice one mark.
Alden the only gauge worth getting would be an EGT gauge, I dont need it for the td04 and Im not sure if im actually going stage 3 (turbo/injectors). I dont want to go through the trouble of installing the gauge and then not going stage 3.

| Egt is still useful if you ever get a dyno tune on the td04. At the least it will help you get the most out of timing advance | |

| yah but a protune on the td04 wont really be worth it that much. Max ill pick up is around 15-20. protune on a vf39 though will be a different story.
