So I went to turn the crank and the engine was a little stuck up, put a socket on the crank pulley bolt and the bolt turned but the pulley stayed still.

Pried the pulley off and the keyway is missing... MORONS.

Also, got one the brakes un-stuck. Gonna take care of the others tomorrow.

Had to warranty the caliper. The genius who took it apart thought a screwdriver would get the pin slide out.

Jacob you wouldnt even know, slide pins on German cars or at least ones i have worked on, have the allen slider, and those are difficult to get a grip on, and you have to use something to slide it out, then i have worked on cars with rusted sliders, those are ridiculous

The numb nuts who owned it before Nick left me with a pile and I don't have the resources to build the car.

Don't be harsh, I sold it because I couldn't figure it out. It's a very oddly deconstructed car. With that said, I would suggest parting it out. I suspect if you do so, you could easily make 2k

Parting out a car went horribly last time, I doubt I'll ever do it again.

I have thought about parting the gti but I just seems like a bad idea.

It took so long to find buyers for my E36 parts that I ended up giving about $1500 worth of it away.
