Yeah that's true, but if I did get it, I'd sell the hardtop right away, and that's like 800 right there. I wouldn't pay $4000 for a Miata though, it would have to come down a little.

I have a '65 austin healey sprite that is free to whoever hauls it out of my fathers garage.

Car was bought and running about 95/96 or so, then me and my father went for a spin around the block in it, went to the gas station and at the pumps, some iddiot backed into us, crushing the passenger side fender. Since it was registered as a daily driver, the insurance company totaled the car. We drove the car home, and have driven it since that same year after the accident. The car is white, has a 1098cc engine, smooth case transmission and knock off wire wheels. I just need it gone out of my parents garage.

It was parked and put up on jack stands with the hopes of doing a restoration on it, but we never got that far. I took off a door I believe(to repaint, and install new seals), bought a brand new left front fender from moss motors. I removed the dash that was in it, the previous owner made one out of 3/4" plywood. I bought a correct dash at carlisle, as well as have 2 sets of seats for the car, one for a '74 sprite, and one for a '68 sprite. There are parts that came off a parts car that will go with the car, such as a non-running '68 sprite 1275 engine. I might have a ribcase trans as well, I'm not 100% sure what is an is not there anymore.

I'd so go pick that shit up. Theres a minty looking yellow one up here for sale at a plumbing shop (yes I said plumbing). They have a side part of their building with a big window and inside they have 3 triumphs and a yellow bugeye. They had a white one too for awhile.

The acquisition of another old Volvo a couple of weeks ago has made me realize that it's time to thin out the herd a bit. I rescued this Duett from a previous owner who had dreams of turning it into a hot rod. My original plan was to restore it to bone-stock, although I also considered doing a sort of resto-mod, keeping it all-Volvo, but with a more modern Volvo drivetrain. But I simply have too many projects going on at the moment and realize that it will be a long time before I get to this one. I'd really like to see this go to an enthusiast who will get it on the road. $2000 obo.

Car has only been to the track once and 4 passes at that on the 1/8 only. as I built it for the street scene.
car is blazing fast ran the 1/8 in 6.92 @99.4 mph with only a 1.8 sixty ft..the 4 link needs to be dialed in as the car just spins off the line (should be up to .5 seconds quicker to the 60ft. ie 1.3s) remember this is a 4 link setup that i have 10k into it just isnt set up yet. that would put the car in the easy mid 10s in 1/4 with a very mild n/a setup... 100-150 shot would get you to 9s or FI would get u to 8s low 9s.

Car does not have a fuel level gauge,power steering (not bad at all, short wheel base,and lightweight), ac, or heat

Car runs great on 89 octane and above
