he will take $6200, would jump on that if you have the $. call sooner than later cause some ricer from chicago is also interested but he'd rather sell it to someone that won't ruin it. i test drove it and it's clean and well sorted. look into the differences between the 1.8 and the escort gt engine though since he swapped in one of those after he blew the block with a misshift. he's an engineer and seems anal about things so I found him pretty trustworthy. let him know i sent you over if you do get it!

Unfortunately, I don't have the funds to buy one that steep from a private seller. If it is up over 5 or 6 grand, I'd get one at a dealership, and trade my car in. I had always been pushing getting a Miata off until I get more money for a second car, and a place of my own to store it. I've realized that I can easily daily a Miata. If I go through with this, I'd probably get a hidden hitch with a small trailer so I can still move up to school That's the only time I use the extra space of my Fusion.

It was assume! I got a little slippage around a corner, because the tires sucked dick and it was raining. I peered over at the salesman, and he was like:

Did you buy it??

Nah. But it's still a consideration. I just need to sort out whether or not I can daily one. I may one to test drive some more. I don't wanna just buy the first one I see! lol. It had a little bit of wear on the driver seat (all Miata's do), and some rock chips on the front bumper. Other than that, it was very clean!

Why might you not be able to daily a Miata? You can buy/make a luggage rack on the cheap if you need more cargo space.
