oil press is kinda useless unless you're doing tracking to see the pressure drops in the corners. otherwise when it gets low it's probably too late anyway.

oil temp is better and egt

In all reality, an 8v really doesn't need any gauges. It's probably the most resistant to bearing failure of any engine, you can tune CIS-E by ear, and you have a coolant temp gauge in the dash. Just sayin. BTW congrats on getting the wheel/tire/suspension setup straightened out. It was a big annoyance for me. I cant wait to drive it!

Not sure dani we had a on car press deal. My boy Tim at Subaru did it for me so I wouldn't mess it up lol. It's def tricky...
The car has a "racked" stance right now lol. Def winter mode. Can't wait. To go lower in the spring! I'll snap a pick 2maro if I feel better...

Oh and next is figure out my speedo cable problem as well as temp gauge when I have time and am not sick, ordering the oil pan gasket now and putting it on soon as it gets here. As far as fun parts grille after tattoo.

It comes loss from the trans. Noah had the prob I read in his build thread on mive. On a good note I just ordered the bushing kit for the USRT smartshift setup! As soon as it warms up that will get dropped in. Gonna keep looking for a non paper oil pan gasket... Or I might just use Subaru Fuji bond! Lol it's the stuff that seals the two haves of a h4 crankcase and everything else on the motor.

you can also make your own gasket.

Napa carries sheets of, I believe it's called Compressed gasket material. They are rather cheap and are good for making your own gaskets.

You simply use the ball-peen end of the hammer and lightly tap all the way around a couple times and the gasket will fall right out.

Many people used this trick on the side of the road but with paper bags hahah

You may want to also re-seal that block off plate near the distributor, If I remember it was weeping a little bit.
