PostSubject: Cold Start Issue    Sun Dec 26, 2010 3:57 pm

So I'm kind of having cold start issues and I was wondering if anyone is/has experienced this before. When I start my car in the morning it idles really low for a cold start. it idles like its already warm, but obviously its not. It'll idle the same way untill the car is fully warmed up, almost no change in RPM's. Input would be appreciated.

I am having like the same exact thing, it will crank really slow, then when it starts it will go right above 1000 rpm and stay right there for a long time. I am trying a new battery, I'll have a new Optima red top in a week or two.

Normal Adam. Even brand new bmws at the dealership will do this. When it gets this cold, cars do this.
